Me in a Nutshell
Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, I love and enjoy outdoor activities immensely. I joined the Army immediately following high school. As a 5 year Army veteran, I have proven leadership skills. I am a dedicated, hardworking, loyal, and confident leader who is fantastic with follow through. Following my time in the Army, I attended Michigan State University (Go Green!) to study special education and math. I am a great collaborator and valued asset to any team. I have a passion for helping all students learn and want every student to succeed in and out of the classroom. I enjoy serving a diverse group of students!
Teaching Experience
+ 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math, Algebra 2, and Old Testament Bible for 2 years
+ 3rd Grade General Education Classroom for one semester
+ K-5 Reading Intervention Classroom for one semester
+ Substitute Teaching various subjects Elementary – High School
